Kitchen & Bathroom Renovations are Great, but There’s More!
While everyone knows how adding a bathroom or remodeling your kitchen can change your house, those aren’t the only viable options to change up the look and feel of your home. Sometimes, changing the other areas of your home, or adding a new room can be more impactful to your life. Sometimes revamping your living room (or the room you spend the most time) in will have an impact every single day!
Here are some of our favorite ways to change your home, but this doesn’t mean you can’t add something like this to your bathroom or kitchen!
Changing up Your Living Room
We all spend lots of time in our living rooms, but sometimes it can be hard to see what to change. While obviously, you can just always move your furniture around (or get new furniture), there are so many more options than that! First, think about opening up the space. Maybe your living room feels a little cramped, oftentimes there are some walls you can open up and grab way more space! Next, you can always redo your floors, whether that be hardwood or vinyl, it will drastically change the look of your room and make it feel more like your own space.
Revamping Your Bedroom
Well, if we spend a lot of time in the living room, you obviously also spend a lot of time in your bedroom! Even if it’s just when you lay down and wake up, you want it to feel like yours! You can add something amazing like a custom-built mantle piece, or bed frame. While this doesn’t change the actual room, it makes you feel like you’re home. Next, you can add wainscoting, which will completely transform the room without adding anything new. Lastly, think about a walk-in closet! This might take up some space from another place in your home, but having one can completely change your daily routine.
Adding a 4-Season Room
With such great weather basically year-round, a four-season room is a classic addition, but that doesn’t make it any less wonderful. This is a Wilmington, NC remodel that will change how you use your home, and how you enjoy your space year round!
Think about Your Ceiling!
Lastly, adding something to your ceiling is all it takes! This is especially great if you have a very large room without a ton going on. So, what do we mean by this? Well, first, you can add faux beams to break the room up. This is a classic option that always looks nice. You can also add new trim, or go big with something like ceiling molding. This can be made into amazing patterns, or just something a little simpler, such as squares, but no less dazzling!
